POST-WAR PLANNING
(Received August 5, 7 p.m.) CANBERRA, August 5. The Federal Cabinet has decided to organize post-war reconstruction planning under Ministerial direction. A subcommittee comprising the Treasurer, Mr. Chitley, the Alinister of External Affairs, Dr. Evatt, the Alinister of Social Services and Health, Air. Hollaway, and the Minister of Labour and National Service, Air. Ward, will examine all the evidence and report to Cabinet. The Prime Minister, Air. Curtin, said that post-war reconstruction was no single. subject, but concerned the whole aspirations of the people for a better way of life.
