Match With Manawatu The management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union received a letter from the Manawatu union last night, stating that commitments would prevent them from playing their representative match ■against Wellington, at Wellington, till September 19. September 28 and October 3 were also free should those dates be acceptable to Wellington. It was decided to reply that Wellington had arranged a return match with tliv New Zealand Tank Brigade team for September 19, and if that match eventuated Wellington would be prepared to Plaj Manawatu on September 26.
