Vice-Regal. Government House, Wellington, August 4. ' His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral received Lieutenant-General E. I’uttick, General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces, this morning. Ministerial. The Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, left Wellington for Auckland by tlie Limited express’last night. The Hon. P. 0. Webb, PostmasterGeneral, visited the Wairarapa yesterday to Inspect earthquake damage to Post and Telegraph Department property. The Hon. Eliot R. Davis, M.L.C., Auckland, is visiting Wellington. ■ His Honour, Mr. Justice Biair, is presiding at the session of the Supreme Court in New Plymouth. Mr. F. 0. V. Acheson, Judge of tlie Native Land Court, arrived from Auckland yesterday.' Mr. Jacob Elliott, a member of the Railways 'Superannuation Board, has returned to Wellington from Auckland. Mr. IV. E. Scott, Kapuni, Taranaki, has been appointed as Government nominee on the New Zealand Dairy Board. Mr. W. E. Hale, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, arrived in Wellington yesterday to preside at a monthly meeting.
