BOY LOSES LIFE
Fall Over Cliff Into Sea, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, August 3. Robert Dow, aged 15, whose parents reside at 50 Dundonald Street, Anderson’s Bay, was drowned this afternoon when he fell over the cliff into the sea at Smaill’s Beach, . Apparently he was walking along a ledge at the top of the cliff and slipped. Two quarrymen were let down by ropes. They recovered the boy’s haversack floating in the water, but there was no sign of his body. Dow was a member of a party of six sea scouts out on a hike.
