Awards To New Zealanders
Pilot Officer Gray Stenborg, R.N.Z.A.F., who has been awarded -the Distinguished Flying Cross, was born in Auckland in October. 1921, and was educated at King’s College, Otahuhu. He applied for enlistment in the Royal New Zealand Air Force while still a student at college, and entered the service as an aireraft-hand pending commencement of flying training. He received his commission in August, 1941. His next-o T-kin is his mother, Mrs. G. Stenborg, 59 St. Stephens Avenue, Parnell. Sergeant David ’ Ronald Stewart, R.N.Z.A.F., .who has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal, was born in Belfast, New Zealand, in October, 1915, and was educated at King Edward Technical College, Dunedin. His next-of-kin is his father, Mr. D. Stewart, Green Island, Dunedin.
