LATE MR. E. J. RIGHTON
Funeral On Saturday The Kent Terrace mortuary chapel was filled on Saturday morning for _ the funeral of Mr. Edward J. Righton, director of J. C.' Willinmeoii Picture Corporation, Theatre .Management, Ltd., and the Fuller Picture Corporation. The services, both in the city and at the crematorium, were conducted by the Rev. E. L. McLcvic, RosenerCth. The chief mourners were the widow, Mr. Harold Righton (son) Mrs. Iliggie (daughter), and Messrs. M. 11. and P. J. Righton (grandsons). The pall-bearers were Messrs. A. Ben Fuller (representing Theatre Management, Ltd.), J. A. Griffiths (Fuller Picture Corporation), P. W. Maddock (N.Z. Film Exchange Association), L. Higgle (son-in-law of deceased), and K. Price. The Rev. Mr. McLcvie paid a tribute to the service rendered by the late Mr. Righton, whose active life both in business and social spheres, and even after his retirement, denoted those qualities which best served a community. Such a life, he felt sure, could not be terminated by death. Among tiiose present were Messrs. 1. Campbell Spratt, W. J. Prouse, Harold Edwards and Kenneth Campbell (representing J. C.
