Late News CHETNIK VICTORY Prisoners From Libya Liberated

(By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.! (Received August 1, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 31. It is reported that Yugoslav patriots killed 4000 Italian troops in an engagement’ near Kosnaii. Greek guerrillas recently liberated 300 British prisoners of war from Libya when en route to German prison camps. There are now 4500 British troops fighting with Greek guerrillas.

The Russian news agency says it is reported from Geneva that the success of the guerrillas and increased sabotage has necessitated a conference at Sofia of German, Italian, Hungarian, Croatian, and Bulgarian railway administrations. Guerrillas ill occupation of many Balkan districts have compelled trains going to Germany to make a detour.
