LADY LONG GRANTED DIVORCE

Lady Long of Wrnxall has been grant-
ed a decree nisi in the Divorce Court on the ground of tlie misconduct of Lord Long. , , o Counsel said that Lady Long was Jo years of age when she was married in November, 1933. Her husband was then A.D.O. to the Governor-General of New Zealand. They went. Io New Zealand after the ceremony. Mr. Justice Hodson said that the merits of tlie petitioner's ease were not verv strong. After a deed of separation in ‘July, 1937. Lord Long committed misconduct with a woman named in the petition and informed his wife immediately afterward. In 1938 Lady Long formed an association with another man and committed misconduct. Tlie Court asked for the exercise of discretion in Lady Long’s favour. Mr. Justice Hodson exercised his discretion and granted Lady Long custody of the only child.
