THE ARCTIC FOX There are two types of the Arctic Fox, the white and the blue. These foxes are to be found from the timber line of North America, Europe, and Asia to as far north towards the Pole as there is land upon which they can feed and roam. The White Arctic. Fox is noted for the denseness and softness of its fur, and is a true aristocrat amongst the fur-ibearing animals. The slightly elf white coloured pelts are dyed in shades varying from pastel tints to quite deep colours, which are most attractive, and >can, under normal conditions, be dyed • tb match any ensemble. This fox has had a steady and well deserved popularity over a long ■period, and as it so readily lends itself to elaborate working on the part of the furrier, it is put to a variety of uses. The Blue Fox, a brown-blue furred animal with a bluish-tinted underhair, is only slightly less favoured than its cousin, but it does not offer the same scope for colouring. However, these luxurious furs are temporarily not procurable, except, of course, for those fortunate ladies who already have them. And this brings us to the message we wish to convey to those whose furs have given them so much delightful wear and which are now, probably, itching for a little rejuvenation. This season we have, as usual, been inundated with repair work by clients from far and near. These clients appreciate the excellence of our workmanship, our service and competitive prices. If they find it worth while bringing, or posting, their repairs in to us, why shouldn’t you also give us the opportunity of showing what we can do with furs that have temporarily lost their first flush of youth. Our service is just as handy as your nearest post office. Our work is guar, anteed, and we pay return postage, so you see just how easy it is to make use of our specialised knowledge and skill. And, of course, if you are interested in acquiring a new coat, you will naturally inspect our stocks before you make a final selection. On today’s cash and coupon values furs are by far the most economical type of gar- ’ meats, and although we have not the’sanie selection that was available pre-war, we have a large range /of •tailored up-to-the-minute furs that are fashionably attractive and contain many years of pleasurable wear.
