NEW BRITISH WEAPON

Anti-Aircraft Shell (Received July 30, 10 p.m.) LONDON, July 29. Berlin radio says that one German airman who raided Middlesbrough last week described Britain’s new anti-air-craft shells as “pilots’ terror.” He said they resembled limning shells which exploded high in the sky and fell down on raiding planes in numerous little shells. Zurich reports a Khineland newspaper as saying that phosphorus incendiary bombs dropped by the 11.A.F. make a splash and stick to everything. Fragments which stick to footwear cause fires if they are carried into buildings.
