Special Stock Exchange Quotation In order to assist holders of Liberty Bonds who find’ now that they wish to realise on them, the Stock Exchange Association of Now Zealand lias departed from its standard practice. of adopting l£2oo as the minimum quotation, and reported sale for a Government loan, and has provided a special quotation for LibertyBonds, the'minimum amount quotable being £lO. From reports it would appear that some quarters have taken advantage ot those‘wishing to sell their bonds, ami that as’ low as .10/- has been accepted through the absence pt. a public market. Sales have now been made and reported at 18/-. Morris, Hedstrom Year The accounts of-Morris, Hedstrom, Ltd. (Suva); for the year e.nded. March 31 show net profit at £54,949, compared with £53.296 in the previous year, and £51,783 in 1940, Tile- amount' available for distribution was £122,862, which the direc--tors recommended for allocation as Joltlows:—Final dividends of 3 per cent, on preference shares (paid on April 1), mak-. Ing 6 per cent, for the year, unchanged, and 3 per cent.- -on ordinary, shares (paid on June 30), making, (i per cent, for the year, unchanged, leaving £100,174 to bo carried forward.' It was also recommended that from this balance a fighter aeroplane to cost approximately £5500, should be presented to the Fiji Fighter. Fund.
