32 Bombers Missing LONDON, July 29. For the second time in three nights, a strong force of R.A.F. bombers was over Hamburg last night. Large fires were seen by the crews. There Mas heavy cloud over the city, but the bombers dived below it in the face ol: fierce anti-aircraft fire and attacked the target. Thirty-two bombers are missing. In daylight attacks on the industrial Ruhr today, one bomber lias been lost. As London's anti-aircraft guns went into action in the early houw yesterday morning it was quickly realized that the latest secret type was )>eing used. People soon noticed a new noise as the shells screamed skyward. In sspite of the German claim that 200 iplanes attacked Birmingham, it is estijnated that only 50 to 70 were over Britain.
