Gazette, July. 23, .1942 and iu force the next day, requiring and’ directing that every person who, on July 24, 1942, bad in his possession or control, but not in use, any NEW OR SECOND-HAND RAILWAY RAILS (including rails laid but not in use, but excluding rails with grooved head commonly known as tram-rulls), or any accessories, shall, on or before August 10. 1942, deliver to the Secretary of Supply, Wellington, a statement containing the particulars set out hereunder, namely:— (a) In the ,case of rails, giving separate particulars for new rails, second-hand rails, and bent, rails—(l) Number of rails and length of each: (ii) Weight per yard. Gazette, July 23. 1942. and in force the next day, requiring-and directing with respect to ALL TYRES AND TUBES suitable for use or capable of being used on tlie wheels of pedal bicycles, (i) After the coming into force of tills notice no person being tlie owner of or having power to dispose of any tyres or tubes to which this notice applies shall sell, dispose of, or part with tlie possession or control of any of such tyres or tubes that are not affixed to a bicycle as part of the normal equipment thereof except with the precedent consent in writing of the Factory Controller, or of some person appointed by tlie Factory Controller for the purpose, (ii) Ail persons in New Zealand who, on coming into force of the notice, have in tiieir possession or control or on order by them any new pedlll-blcyele tyres or tubes that were not affixed to a bicycle as part of tlie normal equipment thereof, shall furnish to tlie Factory Controller, Wellington, written particulars of them showing (a) sizes (usual trade description); (b) quantity in each size.
