NORTON CUP ROWING REGATTA
Programme Announced TO BE HELD THIS YEAR AT KORO KORO Because the ■Wellington wharves are now closed to the public, the Norton Cup rowing regatta will be held this year on the Koro Koro course at Petone on Saturday. December 7. This course is not rowable in a southerly, and in the event of a southerly on December 7, the regatta will be postponed, till December 14 on the Koro Koro course. Messrs. A. D. Bayfeild, W. J. Gaudiu, A. Cl. Cockroft, aud G. Earney, have been appointed judges, and the following programme has been approved : — 2 p.m.. Youths’ Fours. 2.15 Handicap Single Sculls. 2.30 p.m., Welterweight Junior Fours. (This also includes lightweights.) 2.50 p.m., Maiden Double Sculls. 3.10 p.m., Junior Fours. 3.15 p.m., Youths’ Single Sculls. 3.40 p.m., Maiden Fours. 4 p.m., Handicap Double Sculls. Mr. S. I. Kidd has been appointed starter for the regatta, and Mr. P. A. Abbott handicapper.
