llav Affect Form. l'n view of the fact that heavy rain was fallins in Christchurch _ yesterday afternoon, there is the possibility that the •mins may be considerably eased lor the final dav today. In that <nse there are some horses whose chances will be greatlyimproved. In the Metropolitan Handicap this particularly applies to Royal Chiel, Slv Fox, Little Robin, and Ihe Raker, and in the Members’ Handicap to Lord Xuflield, Sleeveless, and Not Out. In the event of a heavy track Pay Roll would <.'o out of favour, as it was considered by T R George that her poor showing at Trenlham was due to the going being greasy. A soft track also is no good to Rualiti. but it will be right for Airline and Poutatau. and Royal Lancer is another likely improver on easy going.
