“SPRING MEETING”
When “Spring Meeting.” the sparkling Irish comedy by M. J. Farrell and John Perry, was presented by the Wellington Repertory Theatre in July last,“The Dominion” critic wrote: —‘ 'Spring Meeting.’ the comedy presented so well by the Wellington Repertory Society at the Concert Chamber on Saturday evening is a perfectly delicious bit or Irish raillery, redolent of the soil, and ever so far away from the moan and melancholy, the gloom and pessimism of some wri.ers of Irish drama, who have achieved a fair share of passing fame. ‘SP ri "| Meeting’ is radiant with the Int ot Irish whims and Irish laughter. Its very bluntness in what is intended as ordinary conversation startles on into a guaffaw here and there, and yet it w atnatural to the people concerned as is a cat to the heartstone.” “Spring Meeting” will bo presented again, this time in support of the Metropolitan Patriotic Committee's appeal for patriotic funds, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
