A message from Vichy says it. was officially announced after mi urgent Cabinet meeting that tlie Government had protested against the expulsion of French-speaking citizens from Lorraine. The Germans gave those expelled tlie choice of going to France or to Poland. All chose France and were transferred ;rt the rate or seven trainloads a day. 11 was denied that the expulsion was tlie result of mi agreement with the Vichv Government.
