Palestine And Egypt

LONDON, November 13.

The Greek Consul-General in Jerusalem lias authorized the calling up of Greek eserve officers up to Hie age

cf -10, who are living in Palestine. Greek civilians up to 40 must also register for national service. Greeks in Egypt and the Sudan are eagerly joining the colours. An entire Greek division is expected to be recruited in Egypt. The Svrian authorities will not pcimit 3000 Greeks of military age in Lebanon and Syria to return home for the duration of the'war.
