Mr. E. 11. Benseman To Be New Manager
Subject to the usual medical test, the Wellington City Council has approved the appointment of Mr. E. H. Benseman, at present manager of the Waimea Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., Nelson, to be manager of the Wellington Municipal Milk Department, in succession to Mr. Robert Herron, manager of the depart men t since its inception in 1919, who will retire next year on superannuation. Mr. Benseman was selected from some 45 candidates.
Lie is a married man, 39 years of age, ami was educated at Takaka .District High School, Nelson, aud lias had a thorough training in all brandies of tlie dairying industry. He holds engineer’s, factory manager’s aud grader's certificates. Mr. Benseman was eight years -with the Golden Bay Dairy Company, live years with the Riwaka Dairy Company, and for the past 10 years lias been manager of tlie Waimea company. He is said to possess considerable organizing ability. Ho is to take up his new duties ou I'Vbruary 1.
