The Hun. A. Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition aud a member of the War Cabinet, left Wellington last; night for the south. He will return to Wellington tomorrow morning.
The Hon. B. C. Webb, Minister of Labour, left Wellington last night for the south.
Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for'the United Kingdom in New Zealand, will arrive at Christchurch on November 21 on a short visit. He "’ill be accompanied by .Lady Batterbee.
Colonel IV. H. Murphy arrived at Wellington yesterday by the interisland steamer express.
Mr. R. MacGregor, inspector for the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, is visiting Bluff.
Mr. A. C. Gray, Wallacetown, has left for Ilawera, where lie will judge the Dorset Horn sheep at the annual show opening today.
