ELIOTT.—On November 13, 1940, at Auckland, George E., second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Huntly Eliott, of Wellington ; aged 71. HOOPER.—On November 12, 1940, at her residence, Bath Street, Eltham, Susan Elizabeth Hooper, only daughter of the late Canon William. Hooper, C.M.8., and Mrs. Hooper, India. (Interred at Eltham November 14, 1940). JOHNSTON. —On November 13, 1940, at Auckland, Aircraftman Kent Johnston, dearly beloved son of Herbert Claude and ' Winifred Johnston, National Hotel, Wellington; in his 22nd year. R.I.P. McCABE. —On November 13, 1940, at Wellington, Valerie, dearly loved daughter of Ultan and the late Maud McCabe, 17 Park Street, R.I.P. (Interred Karori Cemetery yesterday). SHEEDY. —On November 14,1940, at his residence, 34 Packe Street, St. Albans, Christchurch (suddenly), Edmund Michael, dearly loved husband of Helena Mary Sheedy. R.I.P. No flowers.
