YACHTING TRIALS
Nominations Close Next Saturday
At a meeting this week of the Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motor Boat Association, it was stated that nominations for the provincial trials would close on Saturday next, some confusion having existed as to the closing date. The trials will take place on Port Nicholson the two subsequent weekend*. A proposal that, the Idle Along trials should he sailed in three races conducted on I lie New Zealand championship s-ystem of points was lost. It was decided to continue lite five-race system “I" trials.
