INDIAN SCULPTURE Exhibition Of Photographs

RUGBY, November 12. The India Society and Warburg Institute have arranged exhibitions, illustrating 2000 years of sculpture and architecture, which Hie Secretary for India, Mr. Amery, will open at the Imperial institute, London, tomorrow. The exhibition, covering a period from 2(H) lt.C. to 171 H) A.lt. consists of 250 pholographs, many of lil I le-knowu places in India, it is Hie tirst comprehensive exhibition of its kind held in Britain, and it is planned to show Hie ideas ami ideals which inspired Hie great monuments of India and bow tlie country’s art reflects the religion and philosophy of its people.
