HEAD-IN PARKING

Extended To Further Areas

Head-in parking, as in Lambton Quay, is to be permitted in a number of other city streets. A recommendation of the bylaws committee to this effect was approved by the Wellington City Council last night. The streets affected will be : Mercer Street on the north side between Victoria and Lower Cuba Streets, and on the south side between the pedestrian crossings near “The Dominion" Office; Harris Street, on the south side: Oriental Parade; Lambton Quay on the east side between Waring Taylor Street and the law courts; Featherston Street outside the telephone exchange; Cambridge Terrace; Courtenay Place, north side, where practicable.
