Award Of Distinguished Flying Cross

The Distinguished Flying Cross has been awarded to Flying Officer John Noble .MaeKenzie, Balclutha, according to information received by Air Headquarters yesterday.

Flying ’ Officer MaeKenzie was born in Goodwood. Otago, ami is 26 years of age. He was educated at the Timaru Boys’ High Schoo! and the Otago Boys’ High School, and spent some time in farming. He was selected for a short service commission in the Royal Ail Force in 1937, and left for England in October of that year.
