(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) LONDON, November 12. The price of tin is quoted as follows:— Spot, buyers £258/10/- a ton ; sellers £2<>o 15/-; forward, buyers £260/5/-, sellers £260/10/-. United Insurance Co. The United Insurance Co.. Lui., shows a net profit of £46,627 lor the year ended September 30. This is £11,304 less than for last year. Dividend at an unchanged rate of •-* per cent, requires £40,500. Other allocations are £5OOO to reserve and £lOOO to contingent account, leaving £S9(>O to be carried forward. against £8833 brought into the accounts. Not premiums decreased by £39,2n3 and income from interest and rents by £6309. Partly offsetting these declines, expenses and taxation were £11,060 lower and losses £20,198 lower.
