Bore For Swimming Bath
An artilieia! geyser playing up to a height of “Oft. through a -lin. main was the reward of a water diviner and welldriller when an experimental bore was completed at the Rotorua primary school. The bore was put down as the first step toward the provision of a swimming ball for the school, funds lei which wore raised a- a queen carnival some nmnihs ago. A property not generally found in thermal water was that it was of an alkaline nature, suitable for use in the baths in its natural state.
If the water is suitable it will be used in a central beating system for the school in a similar manner lo that in which water from the bore at the Town Hall is used.
