RUGBY, November 12.
The headquarters of the free French Forces has issued the following communique: “Troops of the Free French Forces entered Libreville yesterday. General latu o-ave the order to end resistance and surrendered himself to commanding officer of the Free Frencli Forces.
‘•Contrary to sensational propaganda reports, the police operations which have taken place in Libreville caused very few casualties on either side "General de Gaulle has appointed Lieutenant-Colonel Tarrant Governor of Gabon.” . ■V Vichy communique .states tnat in„ contingents of Spaniards from the former loyalist armies formed part ot General de Gaulle’s forces wind entered Libreville.
