SWEEPING UP MINES
Work In Bass Strait
MELBOURNE, November 13.
The Navy Office has announced that, it will be a few days before a channel has been completely swept in Bass Strait for shipping between Tasmania and Victoria. The Minister of Air, Mr. McEwan, said that the Royal Australian Air Force search of the ocean for the raider suspected of having laid the mines was continuing.
