AID UP TO DANGER POINT

American Press Advocacy LONDON, November 11. More aid for Britain is advocated by the “New York Herald-Tribune.” The United States election, it says, showed tliat the present policy was aid for Britain, but so far scarcely more than a beginning had been made. Britain must receive more aid up to the point where more aid would be almost dangerous. The “Washington Star” says that the United States should sell or lease to Britain tons of shipping tied _up throughout the country. It was just as important for the United States to keep the British merchant marine in operation as to supply Britain with planes.
