Britain Seeks Declaration (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received May 9, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. The Budapest correspondent of the. Associated Press of Great Britain says diplomatic circles reveal that the British Minister, Mr. O. St. C. O’Malley, requested a declaration of the Hungarian attitude in the event of Germany sending troops through Hungary. It is reported that Mr. O’Malley offered the Prime Minister, Count Teleki, British military and aerial support if Hungary, resisted. Count Teleki replied that Hungary’s attitude would be dictated by circumstances. Officials in Budapest now describe the reported request for German troops to march across Hungary as a mistake.
