Plans For Extensions (By Telegraph—Press Association..l HAMILTON, May 9. Expenditure likely ‘to bo f-ttHl.ooo to £500.000 will be made by the Waikato Hospital Board on a building expansion scheme approved today. Most of the works are to be treated as urgent, and Ministerial consent will lie sought immediately. 'l'he projects include extensive -additions to Hie nurses’ home accommodation, a new residence for the superintendent, and the erection of an infirmary in Hamilton. A new hospital and nurses' homo are also to be erected in Rotorua, while Taupo is to have a hospital for the first time. Improvements al Matamata and Te Kuiti are also planned.
