Tn 1935 “The Story of Louis Pasteur,” X with Paul Muni in the title role, flashed upon screens all over the world. With simplicity and sincerity it brought to life again one of the greatest scientists, and a-grateful world heaped praise upon Muni for his art. Co-starred with Muni is Bette Davis, whose performance in "Dark Victory” was so vivid and compelling. Het romantic yet tragic adventure as the Empress Carlotta of Mexico in “Juarez” provides a contrasting highlight to the wide historical background. Brian Ahern, Claude Rains, John Garfield and a host of others make up a cast rich ill talent and personality. The film will be presented in the main cities of New Zealand shortly.
