Wars Keep Upsetting Script Of "World Cruise"
AVARS in Europe and China are gov- ’' eming the final writing of the script for "World Cruise,” which Tay Garnett will produce and direct for Universal with Loretta Young as etar. Garnett wrote his “World Cruise" story while* ou a round-the-world cruise filming backgrounds in the far corners of the earth. The purpose of this trip was to get backgrounds for two pictures. He already has made “Trade Winds.” • However, the outbreak of war, particularly in Europe, has forced Garnett ■to make numerous changes in his script in order to keep it up-to-date. “And I expect to keep a very close watch on new developments, both in China and Europe, in order to make the picture as timely as possible.” Garnett said.
T?ORIS KARLOFF has a title to his liking in “Chamber of Horrors.”
