40 BOMB ATTACKS EVADED
British Warship Shoots Down Raiders LONDON, May <. The'Admiralty, describing the desperate efforts of the German air force to counter the power of the Allied Navies, says that one British vessel was subjected to 40 bombing attacks in one day but it escaped without being hit.
