AIR LOSSES IN NORTH
Many German, Few British Aircraft LONDON, May 7 included in a reliable estimate that Germany lost over 200 aeroplanes in the Norwegian campaign, largely as a result of Royal Air Force bombing, it is stated that, the Fleet Air Arm and anti-air craft guns brought down over 30 Get man machines. 'Pile British losses in Norway did uot exceed 37 planes, 16 of which were lost when raiding air bases, five when raid ing enemy naval vessels, and 16 in othei operations. The R.A.F. raids entailed a flight of about 1000 miles for each heavily-load cd bomber.
