THE PRIME MINISTER
Move To Cabinet Room This Week A move to the Cabinet Room, which is also the office of the head of the Government, will be made this week by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, who has had an office on the first floor of Parliament House, directly above the Bowen Street entrance, ever since he became a Minister of the Crown in 1935. The office vacated by Mr. Fraser is to be taken over by the Attorney-General, Mr. Mason. Mr. Fraser’s private secretries, Mr. J. T. Waugh and Mr. P. J. G. Smith, have been transferred to Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Mason respectively, the portfolios of Health and Education, which were previously administered by Mr. Fraser, having been allocated to these Ministers.
