Address To Parishioners In Kelburn

The need for parishioners to rise to the level of their opportunities and to avoid becoming apathetic was stressed by the vicar of St. Michael and All Angels', Kelburn, the Rev. G. 31. McKenzie, at the annual meeting of the

parish recently. Ho said parishioners had failed to make the Christianity cf their country, of their parish, dynamic and effective in their national and parochial life. During the past, year they had formed an organization to be known as the ••Friends of SI. .Michael." A considerable number of parishioners had joined, but a still larger membership was necessary, and it was hoped to do good work in spreading loyalty and responsibility to the church. The Sunday services, ho was glad to say, had been well attended, and the average weekly attendance at Holy Communion bad increased by more than 20 per cent. Better attendances, however, were desired at the Thursday morning celebration of Holy Communion, specially by the women of the parish. Officers were elected :1s follows: Vicar's churchwarden, Dr. K.
