The junior branch of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce has decided to suspend its activities till the end ot the war. At its last meeting the fallingoff in the attendance was considered, and members were of the opinion that the apparent lack of interest was the result of war conditions and the enlistment of many members for active service.
