HITLER’S PROMISE
Respect For Sweden’s Neutrality (Received May 7, 11.55 p.m.) LONDON. May 7. The Stockholm correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that the Foreign Office confirms that King Gustav and Herr Hitler have exchanged cables. King Gustav re-em-phasized Sweden’s continued neutrality, and Herr Hitler replied giving an assurance that Germany respected that neutrality.
