Forces Near Belgium SHARP FIGHTING IN SAAR SECTOR By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. LONDON, May 6. A message from Brussels states that part of the German troops stationed near the' Belgian border have been withdrawn to an unknown destination. The official French day communique states that there was marked activity by advance artillery units in the region of the Saar. A new German attack is reported to have crumbled during hard fighting in the Saar.
The French evening communique stated that there was nothing of importance to report. There is some artillery fire in lower Alsace.
