Included in several ambitious housing construction schemes for Auckland lire phrns for 12-1 Hats of three different types of accommodation within three minutes of Queen Street on two, and A quarter acres of land situated on the east side of Symonds Street, with a frontage to both Symonds Street and Wynyard Street. The site had been acquired by the Housing Department, stated the Hon, 11, T Armstrong in an interview today. Plans were also being- prepared for 30 units comprising Hats in Acrnwnt. Street, Ponsonby, ami for several blocks of a multiple tyi>e of dwelling at Orakei, also for the iirst block of shops dhtl flats at Orakei.
