SHOOTING ON AHURIRI LAGOON
Prosecutions May Follow Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, May 7. There „is a possibility that prosecutions will follow the action of Napiei shooters who spent the opening morning of the duck-shooting season on areas of Ahuriri Lagoon. It is staled that numerous names were taken by the authorities, who patrolled Im: lagoon area on the opening morning. It is also stated that shooting on the lagoon resulted in some good biigs, ; similar to that experienced in other parts of the district.
