Arrested by Detective G. C. Urquhart on Monday, Dnniel James Haggerty, miner, appeared before Mr. Stout, S.M., iu the Magistrates’ Court, Wellington, yesterday, charged with breaking and entering the house of James 'l'ait, Clyde Street, with theft, and with a breach of the conditions of a probation order. He was remanded till May 15.
