A record amount of fish for Stewart Island for one week was caught during recent calm weather. No fewer than 1600 cases of blue cod, representing about 60 tons, were put through the sheds. One boat brought in 3100 lb. of fish for one trip of three days. Most of the fish were caught round the back of the island.,
