BOY CARRIES LIVE SHELL
A 15-year-old farmhand of St. Fergus, Aberdeenshire, on March 30 picked up an unexploded four-inch shell ami carried it to tlie farm where be was working. Placing it on the ground, lie remarked that it might be something from a motor-car, but others at the farm immediately realized that it was a live shell and informed the police. Experts stated that the youth had a remarkable escape, as the heat of his hand might easily-have caused the shell to explode.
