Heaviest Fall This Year Dominion Special Service. MASTERTON, May 6. Heavy clouds shrouded the ranges to tlie west of Masterton all day today, but a brief break toward midday showed that a heavy fall of snow bad occurred. Tlie small section of tlie ranges which became visible was well sprinkled ou the lower slopes, and heavily covered toward the peaks. The fall appears to have beer, easily the heaviest experienced so far this year, and it is unlikely that it will completely melt away till next summer. Through the break which enabled the mountains to be observed, it could be seen that some heavy falls of snow were still occurring. -
