SECRETS OF GRAF SPEE
Being Revealed To British Firm (Received May 6, 7.5 p.ni.) NEW YORK, May 5. The Buenos Aires correspondent of the “New York Times” says that the dismantling of the Admiral Graf Spec js proceeding under great difficulty and secrecy, it has revealed several novel features of construction ■to naval experts employed by a British firm which is understood to be tho sponsors of the local purchasers. Divers discovered the existence ot a hidden anti-aircraft gun in the bows which can rapidly be uncovered by means of complicated mechanism. An analysis of the deck plates showed that they* are made of an alloy steel which has not yet been identilied. Rust-proot plates protected the Diesel motors and oilier mechanism. A range-finder apparatus was lost as a result of a storm. The wreck is at present broken in two parts. A laige quantity of shells was found unexploded in the fore part of the pocket-
