WELLINGTON HARRIER CLUB
The annual novice race of the Wellington Harrier Club was held from the Aliratnar tennis courts on Saturday. 'l'he course was the usual one of approximately three miles. Some promising material showed up among tiie young runners. The race resulted: C. R. I’ocock, 1; A. Norris. 2; A. B. McCallum, 3; R. Chown, 4; P. J. Wilson, 5. Fastest time: C. R. I’ocock, 18.55 1-5: A. B. McCallum, 19.40, 2: A. Norris. 21.26 2-5. 3. Next Saturday members will meet at the bus stop at the Hotel Cecil at 1.45 pan. for the Hutt invitation run. .
