FAREWELL DINNER

Mr. G. H. Meadmore Guest Of Honour Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, with his niece, Miss Isabel Biggar, gave au informal dinner party at Ranelagh last evening iu honour of Mr. G. H. Meadmore, the Commissioner-General for the United Kingdom Pavilion at the Centennial Exhibition, who is shortly leaving New Zealand now the Exhibition has closed. The guests were: The Hon. D. G. Sullivan and Mrs. Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. A. Hislop, M. and Mme. Nihotte, JI. and Mme. Bouquet, Mr. W. E. Reid, Mrs. James Vogel, and Miss Jordan.

Mr. R. Boulter was unavoidably prevented from being present.
